We are a premier electric RC car club located in Yateley, Hampshire. With a fun, helpful and relaxed atmosphere, you are guaranteed to come back time after time.

Whatever your age, whatever your ability, we welcome all to join the action.

With our purpose built, and meticulously maintained track, we provide state of the art timing equipment to ensure the very best experience in competitive RC driving.  Offering a technical challenge to even the most seasoned driver, our facility has earnt us respect in the RC community; hosting many national race meetings, along side our own championships.

Important Notice

For all future race meetings a minimum of 10 drivers for any meeting is required to book in on the booking in page on the forum, unless there are 10 drivers the meeting will be cancelled.

If you intend to race at the YMCC you must pre-book, payment is not required until the race day.

Racing is now every other Saturday for the winter months. Next meeting 30th October, then 14th November. New start time of booking in at 10.00am, first race 10.30am. The meeting will run on the clock 'till the end without stoppages.

News - 23rd September 2010

Ian Finch, Ashley Finch and Mark Townsend have all year been racing in the BRCA Nationals with the sponsored drives From Top Racing UK and MuchMore UK. After completing 5 rounds all around the country, they have finished 3rd place in the Constructors Championship, out of 14 teams entered. This is a great results for the Top Photon Chassis little know 18 months ago and now one of the leading chassis raced in the the UK and around the world. Ian being the Team Manager for the 4 teams entered said "its been a hard seasons racing with ups and downs but scoring points was the main objective and the Chassis certainly proved its self against other well know makes. We are all really please with getting this 3rd place for the team as a whole."

This Sunday is the last round of the SLCC, trophies awarded to top 3 in each class, you can book on the day, food available, practice Saturday, and Qualifying and Finals Sunday. Don't miss the Fun!

YMCC represented at the recent BRCA round 3 at the Aldershot Track. Ian and Ashley Finch collected their plaques for coming 2nd and 1st respectively on the day in their Finals.




News - 16th July 2010

8th August is the next National at the Yateley track. For further information and booking click here you can also race touring cars for this class only, and you can pay on the day.

13th September is the last round of this years SLCC at the Yateley track. I'm sure it will be as much fun as it was last year, camping is allowed, for futher details contact the club chairman, booking in is via central booking, but we can also take entries on the day.

The Summer Championship 2010 gets underway without hesitation, this weekend see's the opening round on the 2nd May.
Get yourself booked in and start the season early as there's plenty of points up for grabs.

Today we have great pleasure in announcing the first 1/10th electric Touring Car and Mini ‘OPEN APEX GP’ to be held at Yateley Model Car Club’s unique and challenging asphalt track in association with Schumacher Racing UK.

This event will be held over three days on the bank holiday weekend of May 31st 2010. There will be four classes of Touring Car; 17.5, 13.5 10.5 and modified, all conforming to BRCA rules as well as two classes for the Mini; M-Chassis and Outlaw. In addition we will have a huge raffle with £1000 worth of prizes.

Saturday will comprise of a full day's practice for those that are keen to get a bit of track time under their belt before all day qualifying on Sunday.

Monday will host the last qualifying round followed by a full day of gridded finals!

We will be posting more information, the application form, rules specifics and online registration with Paypal payment early next week.
